The Story behind the Design

This work represents our ties to Country and our communities. The various meeting place symbols, repeated lines and intricate dotting symbolises these communities and connections. Country gives us a sense of belonging, which includes cultural, emotional and social ties that bind us to family, kin and community. Our connection to country is inherent, we are born to it, it is how we identify ourselves, it is our family, our lore, our responsibility, our inheritance and our legacy. Our communities keep our cultural heritage alive by passing our sacred knowledge, arts, ceremonies and performances from one generation to another

Our picnic rugs measure 2m length x 1.5m width. They are made from a 100% polyester canvas fabric and have been certified with the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 tick-meaning every part of this fabric has been tested for harmful substances.

They are double-sided print, UV protected, water-resistant & sandproof, and Picnic blankets come with a leather carry handle.

Care Instructions- Spot clean any messes with a damp cloth, can also be cold machine washed.
