The Story Behind the Design

This artwork is a representation of the mapping of the land. Clair talks about having fond memories growing up in the Northern Territory travelling by small planes and seeing the beautiful terrain of the country

• Use a vacuum on a low power setting without a rotary or spinning brush attachment to prevent damage.
• Lightly vacuum the rug once or twice a week to remove surface dirt.
• Place a high-quality rug underlay to protect the pile, reduce wear & stop rug from slipping (you can purchase one from us)
• When it's time for a deeper clean, machine wash your rug on a delicate setting using cold water with 1 TBSP of unscented, clear detergent. Do not use fabric softener or bleach
• Expect slight shrinkage of up to 5% which is normal for all washable rugs
• After the first few washes your rug,some shedding or lint may occur. This is part of the natural process and will diminish with time, leaving the rug fluffier.

Spot cleaning instructions:

• Lightly dampen a paper towel or cloth with water
• Blot the stained area with your damp towel or cloth gently to dilute the stain
• For persistent stains, use a small amount of unscented, dye-free , and citrus free soap.
• Repeat this process until the stain is gone.

These rugs are handmade, so slight shedding may occur, especially in high traffic areas. This is a natural characteristic of wool rugs.
